Cookie Policy
Effective date: 31 October 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) that Presently uses on presently.ai-365.uk and in the Chrome extension. It adds detail to section 13 of our Privacy Policy.
1. The short version
- We use only what is needed to sign you in, remember your choices, keep the Service secure and credit referrals.
- We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics.
- Because these cookies are strictly necessary or remember a choice you made, we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
2. Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
ps | Keeps you signed in to your dashboard. It contains a random session code, not your personal details. | Strictly necessary | 30 days, or until you sign out |
lang | Remembers the language you chose for the website. | Functional (your choice) | 1 year |
pref | Set only when you open someone's referral link. It remembers which link brought you, so the referral can be credited and any welcome discount applied if you sign up. | Functional | 60 days by default |
3. Local storage
The website stores a few settings in your browser's local storage, such as your chosen language and whether you are viewing the Teaching or Business version of the site. The Chrome extension stores its settings and your sign-in on your device using Chrome's extension storage. This information stays on your device; you can clear it in your browser settings.
4. Third parties
- Web font service. Our pages load a font from a web font service. Your browser connects to that service to download it, so it receives your IP address and browser details. It does not set cookies for this.
- Google sign-in. When you sign in with Google, Google may use its own cookies on its own pages, under Google's policies.
- Payment provider. When you pay, you enter your card details on our secure payment provider's checkout page, which may use its own cookies for security and fraud prevention, under the payment provider's policies.
5. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the ps cookie, you will not be able to sign in to the dashboard. Blocking lang or pref only means we cannot remember your language or credit a referral.
6. Changes and contact
We will update this page if we change the cookies we use. Questions: support@ai-365.uk
