Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: 31 October 2026
This policy explains how paid Presently plans are billed, how to cancel, and when you can get your money back. It is part of our Terms of Service. Nothing in it takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
1. Summary
- Paid plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time in Plan & billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We email you a reminder 3 days before each renewal.
- You can ask for a refund from your dashboard within 14 days of a payment. A first payment for a paid plan is refunded in full if you have used no more than 20% of that period's AI minutes.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through our secure payment provider. Banks usually take 5 to 14 days to show them.
2. How billing works
- Subscriptions. When you buy a paid plan, you start a monthly or yearly subscription. Each payment adds one billing period to your plan, and the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- Prices and currency. Prices are set in US dollars. Payments are processed by our secure payment provider and charged in Egyptian pounds (EGP), converted at the exchange rate on the day of payment. The amount in EGP is shown before you pay. Your bank may show a different amount in your own currency and may add its own foreign-transaction fees, which we do not control.
- Renewal reminders. We email you 3 days before each renewal with the date and the amount, so you have time to cancel if you do not want to continue.
- Invoices. We issue an invoice (PDF) for every payment. You can download your invoices in Plan & billing. If a payment is later refunded, its invoice shows the refund.
- Discounts. Coupon codes and automatic discounts may lower the price. Only one discount applies to each payment. Some discounts apply only to the first payment; others apply to several renewals or to every renewal, as shown when you buy. When a discount ends, later renewals are charged at the normal price.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
- AI minutes. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance of AI minutes. Unused minutes do not carry over to the next month and are not refunded. The Free plan includes a one-time AI trial.
3. Cancelling your subscription
- Go to your dashboard, open Plan & billing and choose Cancel subscription. You do not need to contact us, and we do not ask you to give a reason.
- Cancelling stops all future renewals. You keep full access to your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your account moves to the Free plan. Your data stays in your account and your recordings stay in your Google Drive.
- Cancelling does not by itself give a refund for the current period. If you also want a refund, request one as explained in section 4.
- If you delete your Presently account, we cancel your subscriptions at the same time, so you are not charged again.
- Removing the extension from Chrome or removing Presently's access in your Google Account does not cancel your subscription. Please cancel in Plan & billing.
4. Refunds
4.1 How to ask
In your dashboard, open Plan & billing, find the payment under your payments, and choose Request a refund. Tell us briefly why. We confirm by email that we have received your request, and we normally reply within a few working days. You can withdraw an open request at any time. If you cannot use the dashboard, email us at support@ai-365.uk from the email address of your Presently account.
Refund requests can be made within 14 days of the payment they relate to. The dashboard shows whether a payment can still be refunded.
4.2 When we refund in full
- First purchase. If it is your first payment for a paid plan, monthly or yearly, and you ask within 14 days of payment, we refund it in full as long as you have used no more than 20% of the AI minutes included for that period.
- Our mistakes. If you were charged twice for the same thing, charged after you cancelled, or charged the wrong amount, we refund the incorrect charge in full, even after 14 days.
- Service failure. If a paid feature did not work because of a problem on our side, and we could not fix it within a reasonable time after you told us, we refund the payment in full or in part, depending on how much of the period was affected.
4.3 Other requests
We review every other request individually and fairly, for example a renewal you forgot to cancel or a first purchase where more than 20% of the AI minutes have been used. We may:
- approve a full refund;
- approve a partial refund, usually in proportion to the time left in the period and the AI minutes not yet used; or
- decline the request, telling you why.
We are more likely to refund a renewal if you ask soon after it and have hardly used the paid plan since. We do not refund the remaining part of a period simply because you cancelled during it; you keep access until the period ends instead.
4.4 What happens when we refund
- The refund is sent back to the card you paid with, through the payment provider, in the currency you were charged (EGP). We cannot send refunds to a different card, bank account or person. Banks usually take 5 to 14 days to show the refund on your statement.
- We refund the amount you actually paid, after any discount. We do not refund bank or currency-conversion fees charged by your own bank.
- A full refund removes the plan time that the payment bought. Your access to the paid plan ends straight away (or at the end of any other period you have paid for), and we normally cancel the subscription too. A partial refund does not shorten your plan unless we tell you otherwise.
- We email you when a refund has been issued, and the payment's invoice is updated to show it.
5. Failed renewal payments
If a renewal payment fails, for example because your card has expired or has insufficient funds, the payment provider retries it over the following few days. If it still fails, the subscription is paused and we email you. Once the time you have already paid for runs out, your account moves to the Free plan until a payment succeeds. Your data is kept. You can restart a paid plan at any time from Plan & billing.
6. Referral rewards
- Referral rewards (free plan days or a commission) are granted only after the referred customer's payment has passed the 14-day refund window.
- If that payment is refunded before then, the reward is cancelled.
- Free plan days you receive as a reward have no cash value and are not refundable.
7. Your legal rights
This policy does not limit any right you have by law. In particular:
- EU and UK consumers generally have a 14-day right to cancel (withdraw from) an online contract for a service, starting on the day the contract is made. When you buy a plan, you ask us to start providing the Service straight away. If you then cancel within those 14 days, you are entitled to a refund, less a proportionate amount for the Service you received up to the time you told us (for example, the share of the period that has passed and the AI minutes used). To cancel in this way, use Request a refund in the dashboard or email us; you can also send us any clear statement that you want to cancel.
- Consumers in Egypt have the rights given by the Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 181 of 2018) and its executive regulations.
- Consumers elsewhere may have similar rights under their local law, and we will honour them.
Business customers and schools that buy under a separate written agreement or quote follow the refund terms in that agreement, if it says something different.
8. Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first. We can usually resolve it, and refund it, faster than a card dispute. If you open a chargeback, we may pause the account until the dispute is settled.
9. Delivery of the Service
Presently is a digital service. Nothing is shipped. Your paid plan is available in your account as soon as the payment provider confirms the payment, normally within a few minutes. If your plan has not been updated within an hour of a successful payment, contact us.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes do not apply to payments made before the change, unless they are better for you. If the changes are significant, we will tell you before they take effect.
